now for my terrible writing skills, so sorry in advance if its all jumbly and strange to read.

Lady Stearia Candlewax
i imagine her as the spirit of lighting candles, so she would fit into the darker wintery seasons, and christmas.
candles on the christmas tree, celebrating of St.Lucia and such

so the candles on her head where inspired by the St.Lucia celebrations of scandinavia where the eldest daughter wears a headdesss made of pine tree branches adorned with candles, younger children following her, all dressed in white robes carrying candles, chasing darkness from people's homes with song.

upon wich we come to her name, a combination of Stearin, that some candles are made of - and Aria, song.

Anyway, storytime.
I imagine she is the eldest daughter of a much more Jolly Lord, but exiled from her kin.
(still calls herself lady, but mainly because she is upstuck and didn't think she did anything wrong and that her exile was utterly uncalled for)
The reason for her banishment? well her younger siblings (or what remains of them) are those eyes, so woah being a bit morbid there Mo... yes. melty melty.
Since she has no eyes herself, they sort of see for her,being able to report back to her, what they see. but they can also keep things from her because siblings can be quite douchey and mean to each other. And after what she did to them, i wouldn't hold it against them to dislike their sister.
they would rather help someone escape from her, than let her have her way with them and cover them in wax

She is practically blind, she tiptoes around and 'sees' with her candle, so only what her light hits, she can see, it can also be blown out (which she obviously takes as a great insult.) So she moves along all gracefully and silently, leaving her trail of melted wax, shining her light to see, and she might appear all kind and ladylike, speaking softly like a song, with a gentle voice, shining a light and chasing away darkness.. but she can fire up any moment and wish to burn you alive, cover you in wax or just plain murder you.. often for such simple things as asking about the eyes, her family, or being in what she might perceive as a tiny bit rude.
when she does get pissed tho, it shows, the flames flaring up, the cold wax in her face crackling and tearing, leaving her a rather frightening sight.

I also imagine she posesses some magical powers?
she almost floats when she walks, leaving tippytoe spots of melty wax
weak to fire but depending on it still.
She is stong, but only because a thick layer of hard cold wax around anyone's neck is tough to break out of.. add some head tho and one could easily melt her entire arm off.. not that it would harm her much, but it would set her back, since she would have to reabsorb the wax and let it drip and run to create new arms.
(and most likely send her into another wave on how cruel people are to her, whine whine whineee)

cold, uncaring for anyone but herself, talks only about herself, unless its rumors and gossip, bad words about others. wallowing in her own pity and how cruel they where to her. Oh and she looks down on anyone. She is better, she is a lady. She was so misunderstood, poor her, and her beauty. woe to her, misfortune to her awful father and his silly peasants and servants.

she might not want to kill you at first if she imagines you being a silly uninformed peasant tho, that could be used against her.
